This warning is provided pursuant to California's Proposition 65, formally known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings about significant exposures to chemicals that are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean that a product violates any product-safety standards or requirements. Proposition 65 applies to any company operating in California, selling products to California residents, or manufacturing products that may be sold in California.
Because chemical exposure levels can vary depending on how a product is used and handled, we encourage customers to follow all product care, handling, and safety instructions provided with their products.
